The Apothecary Diaries, Volume 8 by Itsuki Nanao, Nekokurage, Natsu Hyuuga

*squints* well...played? By completely eliding anything re my issues of the last volume and delivering a nuanced wrenching back story dump in a sweet way, I....will remain poised on the continue/immolate decision pin. Seriously, this volume was fantastic ~except~ so I will hold my full endorsement until I am more clear.
If anyone wants to give me a run down specifically on wtf is going on with their handling of hormones/gender shit, I dgaf about spoilers and would appreciate not having to want to love something that might hurt me.

Viscerally powerful. A deeply painful story told with clarity and hope, drawn vibrantly. I ached reading this, as another person who turned their (in my case mostly queer stuff) confusion on themself. I truly appreciate this story being shared.

*blink blink* ok....ok...I think...I know what's going on? It's still beautifully drawn, and so earnestly goofy with entire seriousness, but wow am I just now along for the ride. Not complaining tho heh.
