I had a really hard time putting this down! It’s such an interesting concept with a mix of romance and mystery, and there were so many twists that I wasn’t expecting. I loved the chemistry between Evie and Drew, and I was constantly on edge to see where things would go through the flashbacks. It does deal with some heavy topics, and I feel like it was handled well, but I do just wish we got more closure in the end. Overall, I really enjoyed this story and I’m excited to read more by Emma Grey.

Thanks NetGalley & Zibby Books for this arc in exchange for my honest review.

I loved this unique concept! I listened to this on audiobook and Julia Whelan does a fantastic job as always. Some of the timelines are a bit out of order so I did find it a bit confusing at times, and I also wasn’t a big fan of some of the conflict that was brought on. However, I loved the magical realism and her writing style and I’m excited to read more by her.

This was a sweet continuation of the Maple Hills series! It’s the 3rd book in the series after Icebreak and Wildfire, and has the least amount of spice. It can be read as a standalone, but I loved seeing character cameos from the pervious books.
Halle is a people pleaser, and as one myself, I found her so relatable. Henry is also so sweet and is going through so many mental health struggles of his own. I loved the way these characters looked out for eachother and how it was handled.
It did feel a bit slow at times, so it’s not my favorite of the series, but I still really enjoyed it!

This was hilarious and I enjoyed it so much! Meghan Quinn is so clever in the way she wrote this one and I was laughing from beginning to end. I loved catching all the twists on the original Grinch story, the narrator with the Dr Suess style rhymes and her fun side characters. It is a bit long for a Christmas story, but I still enjoyed it so much. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a good laugh and spice. It’s my favourite book that I’ve read by Meghan Quinn so far!
