Definitely better than Cinder (although I enjoyed that too!). More action and insight into the characters. I 100% love Captain Thorne and Scarlett is ace. If you're a lover of fairy stories with a twist, you'll love these books!

Am I right in saying these books just keep getting better and better? I'm in love with ALL the characters but especially Cress, Thorne & Kai. Iko is 100% my spirit animal. God. I just loved this book.

5+++++++

I don't even think I can express my unending love for this book! I thought "800 pages? That's going to be 600 pages of crap". I was SO SO wrong. Never a dull moment. The character progress was beautiful and I loved ALL the main characters. Even a few of the fleeting characters! (Alpha Strom). I'm so so sad that I've finished this book and I 100% will be reading the whole series again soon. Such beautiful books.

I had EXTREMELY high expectations before I began reading this book after seeing all the hype and I can say, I am far from disappointed. The world Stephanie Garber created is flawless and draws you in, letting you imagine every detail and smell. When you think you know what's happening, everything twists and you're left back at square one, wondering how many chapters you can squeeze in to the time you have. The romance at the beginning was too focused on (for me) BUT it grew on me as the book progressed and the cliff hanger at the end? Genius. I am SO excited for the next instalment.

Holy shit. (Sorry for any swearing guys!)
I got about 30 pages into this book, turned around to my husband and moaned about the layout and how I was prepared to put it down immediately. THANKFULLY I persevered and I'm so glad I did.
The characters: WOW.
The storyline: AMAZING
The ending: PURE TEARS

I loved this book endlessly and I'm starting Gemina immediately. If you're looking to buy this book; do it. If you're 2 or 10 or 50 pages in and don't think you can continue? Trust me and push through it. It's worth it. God bless these authors for making a book with such a different layout and story and characters that you just fall in love with.

In conclusion: MUST READ

I've cried. I've laughed. I've put the book down and walked away, full of anger.

This book hit me in a place that hurts. Hit me in a place that took me back years and made me proud.

I think everyone, EVERYONE, should read this. There's so many lessons to learn and it's an important one. My favourite CoHo book and one that I'll hold close to me forever.

After hearing the raving about this book, I bought it. The synopsis didn't really intrigue me but I thought I'd give it a go. MY LORD. It's a bloody masterpiece. The writing is flawless and seamless; going character to character. The characters in themselves are amazing. Whether good or bad, they're believable. I would have to say, this is my favourite book of my 2017 reading so far! I was only 150 pages in when I ordered the second one off Amazon so that speaks for itself! A complete masterpiece.
