The most whimsical and wonderful book I've read in a long time! This book will have you thinking for a long time; there are so many layers of meaning. I'm still trying to piece it all together. Yan Ge is a magnificent writer, and Jeremy Tiang the best translator I have read from.

This one was really good. Some hopelessly good luck, but good intrigue and good character display and growth.

Excellent!! Just as gripping as the book before it, which can be hard to find in a book!

I read this once before (when I was in high school) and it was a pretty good introduction to Daoism back then. But now after having learned significantly more about Daoism through my study of China and Chinese, I can understand this book so much better! It does such a simple and beautiful job of explaining major Daoist ideas through Winnie the Pooh characters and stories. It's a pleasure to read.
