Want to Know a Secret? by Freida McFadden

This wasn't Freida's worst book I have read and I appreciated the quick thrills.
The good thing about this book is that I felt like the twists were believable, which isn't always the case for her books.
I would say this is a great quick read for newbies to the thriller genre! It's a classic whodunit with a few twists and turns.
I thoroughly enjoyed this as an audiobook and the multiple POVs and past/present timelines helped keep the story interesting

I’ve always talked myself out of writing a book because I was afraid I would subconsciously write a book that had similar plots, twists, etc to another book and I’d get sued and go to jail…but apparently you can do this and nobody bats an eye 😅
This book was basically Verity reincarnated. Sure, a few details were different but I definitely felt like I was just reading Verity but a little different!
Overall, it’s a quick thrill and a quick read so I can’t complain too much. It’s just interesting how similar this book is to Verity!

I was hooked from chapter one on this one. Its plot is actually one of my big fears so that is maybe why it was so “thrilling” to me.
However, the audiobook was so good and made me feel like I was right there experiencing it with the main character. Plus, being a mom too made this one even more relatable and scary.
This author did such a good job of making a book that seemed straight forward, not. I was second guessing myself constantly while listening and I love when an author can do that!
While I enjoy being right when it comes to guessing the twist, I LOVE it when an author proves me so very wrong.

This was quite a thriller!!! So many twists and turns! I did catch on to one of the big twists halfway through but there were plenty more to come.
One interesting thing is that most of the characters in this book are pretty unlikeable. Even so, I found myself hooked and trying to finish it so I could see how it ended.
The multiple POVs and past and present timeline made this to be a thrilling story - I’d love to read more from this author!

So good! I thought I had it all figured out only to be genuinely SHOCKED in the last few chapters.

I genuinely cannot believe the ending. I had to reread a couple of times. WHAT. Best thriller of 2019 is right!!

This one was so suspenseful and I genuinely had no idea how that ending was going to play out!!
