Wow, this is an unexpected masterpiece! The Moby Dick of this generation, in the same way that Moby Dick is not about hunting a whale, this is not about being eaten by a whale. This is surprisingly emotional and had me gripped from the first giant squid sighting. Incredible!

The untold story of the women who went to Vietnam, when the world told them "there were no women in Vietnam". Absolutely incredible story, and heartbreaking throughout really, not just one tragedy. Well written, engaging, and definitely a must read for any historical fiction lover.

This is such a cheesy series, the alliteration is on purpose, but it is still something I couldn't put down.

I just don't think I was in the right mindset for this, but the audiobook was actually amazing with several narrators and sound effects made it very easy to listen to.
