A Not So Meet Cute by Meghan Quinn

Took me a while to finish this book (life is busy) but when I tell y’all I shrieked and screamed at all the little moments in this book!!!! Huxley Cane might be my favorite book boyfriend ever.

This book felt like a true rom-com. It was funny, sweet, and so freaking cute. There are mentions of DV and Emotional/mental abuse (not by the MMC) so go into this book knowing that.
Alexis is a very well known doctor who was on her way home from a funeral when she gets into a car accident in the middle of nowhere. Cue Daniel, the young, hot carpenter who tows her out of the ditch.
They end up having a one night stand and the rest is history.
I loved this book and these characters with my entire heart. This book was a 10/10 5 million stars.
We also got a “you came?” “Of course I came” and I was a PUDDLE of tears. This was my first Abby Jimenez book and I can say, I’ll be reading more!!!!

This was cute, fast and honestly a very healthy relationship for college kids.
Vincent and Kendall are so cute and precious and I loved that they talked through their problems!
My only issue was how much Kendall referred to her life as a romance book plot. It was consistent. if it wasnt her, it was her friends.
BUT thankfully it wasn't too bad to where i didnt like that book overall. i preordered a copy for when it comes out tomorrow!!

Twisted Lies by Ana Huang

Knowing this is the last book for this series, I had such a bittersweet time reading it. Christian and Stella were cute! I love that he protected her. The epilogue had me in TEARS though.
