Too brutal. Also attempted this in the physical format and I’m still in a real e-book kick.

I wish Nelson was more likeable. And what’s the author’s hangup with weight? Super fast-paced, well written, and Ruth is a sympathetic protagonist. I wish I could have a cup of tea in an English cottage on the salt marsh!

I think he mentioned women only 3 times in this book. Some good content but Jesus we get it, Twitter is bad.

So well written and honest. She really understood how to deliver this story.

The friendship seemed a bit unrealistic, but loved the second chance romance. And of course, love Maine as a setting.

Loved the romance in this one. Perfect for summer. Made me love my husband even more. Ugh so good.
Little House in the Big Woods by Laura Ingalls Wilder

Really sweet and cozy. Definitely feels like it was written in 1930. Laura obviously idolized Pa and that was kind of grating.

Written in 2021 but apparently the Gen Z daughter posts selfies and pictures of avocado toast? Give me a break

Just didn’t capture my attention the way I wanted it to.

Good but not great. Sometimes the time travel elements were fuzzy. Lots of cliches that made me roll my eyes.
