woah i did not see that plot twist coming AT ALL. 

the pacing was perfect, the themes and ideas in the book were so ahead of their time and i honestly cant believe more people don't know about it.

Fever dream book. Loved it and especially loved Blandine and whenever she brought up Hildegarde von Bingen or had any interaction with Joan (who i seemed to picture as philomena cunk for some reason??)

one of the most breathtaking and poetic novels  

this was also one of the only times I haven’t felt somewhat disappointed by an ending of a book - it was PERFECT

For once I preferred the tv adaptation to the book. I think it’s because I NEED some sort of closure. But I do I understand why the book ended the way it did, and i can appreciate it from a literary perspective… I guess.
