I can’t really give a detailed review for this book because I don’t have depression, so I’m just gonna say that I liked how the book explored the MC’s different lives.

This book has 432 pages and I promise you half of those pages mean nothing. Sarah J. Maas has the incredible ability to write the same paragraph 5 or 6 times in a row (with different wording, somehow?), making it impossible to read without breaks. If you put a gun to my head and told me to name 3 plot points in this book, I’d tell you to shoot me.

(entirely my opinion, your opinion on it is also valid. I'm just gonna be really critical) : it's a good thriller and the plot twists were good. My original score for this book was gonna be like 4/5 but that's for another universe where I actually liked the characters.
I disliked most of the characters, some people may say that they're written to be realistic, but I say stop sexualizing the female characters. Thanks.

This book has got to be one of my all-time favorites. I think the narration of the MC made the book so enjoyable to read, you follow her (all over the place) thoughts as she goes on this adventure and finds herself at the end. The other characters were also so lovable.
I don’t know what happened as I finished the book. Maybe my heart broke, maybe it only grew stronger, but whatever happened, I would give so much to be able to read this book for the first time again.

It was supposed to give, but it did not give.
I started this book because the reviews made it seem masterpiece, but it definitely is not that. Somehow this book stayed perfectly average throughout the entirety of it. I don’t think I’ll read the rest of the series.

Still feels like a dream to me because I read it so fast with 0 breaks to process anything.

I read this in school for a book club and the book was so good that the work I had to do for it didn’t make me hate the book.
This book challenged my idea of the world and opened my eyes to a life I could’ve never imagined. I had to remind myself that this was something a real person had lived through many times throughout the book.
I don’t have the words to describe this book right now, so I can only urge you to read the book.
