A fun kinda steamy novella. With the way anatomy was described it was a little hard to imagine how things worked.
I might be alone on this but I liked the mating part best lol

How do I simultaneously felt like this book was going NOWHERE but was also incredibly rushed?
but what killed for me was the second kidnapping BY THE SAME EVIL ORC FROM THE FIRST TIME

This book had so much potential, is sad that I didn't like. The idea was good - a dating agency getting fated mates together across the universe and years - but the plot was so convoluted and fast paced that it didn't worked. I usually don't mind fast plot and insta-love in alien romances, except the way things happened here was weird, like the story was missing parts. Besides, I think Carrie and Raven had more conversations than Carrie and her mate (Davis??? I already forgot *sigh*).
One last thing - the smut was very lacking.

This might be one my favorite Honey Phillips books. I like how her alien/monsters heros are big, protective and wholesome. With so many alien books having heavy scenes with kidnapping (and sl4very) is good to find one that doesn't linger in that part and is just sweet with a bit of action.
I think Honey Phillips became one of my 'break in case of emergency' authors <3

This book gave me the feeling i was looking for: being obsessed with a story that i couldn't put it down. The Fraser clan need to be protected at all cost - i loved them so much. Daphnie was a great MC, and she was here representing all of us who like monsters romance <3
My only kinda negative thing is that i felt like the plot of why they couldn't be together draged a little bit longer than i'd like it.

This is a very low stakes fluff romance with a couple of what i think is heavry topics as secondary plot. I liked the main characters but together they were bland (i really loved the FMC besties tho). One thing i thought was weird is how invest we get with the MMC family but we don't see anywhere Nik's family.
I'm starting to think that trad published romances are not for at the moment.

i loved this book!!! didn't know what to expected when i picked up but it surprise in the best way.
Katla is the funny, a little grumpy, warrior at heart set on her mission to save her village and make a name for herself; the LI is this big grouchy dragon shifter who have a sweet side, and the two together were wonderful. the banter was great, i loved both of them naming all things and beings, and calling each other "idiot" in a lovingly way, and Joy was the cutest omg. oh, and we get nonbinary rep wich was great.
if you looking for a sweet, sometimes fast paced with a little bit of angst fantasy romance this one is for you. the magic system was very interesting and i thought the worldbuilding was good.
a couple of things though:
- i like my fantasy romance with smut and sexy scenes so i wanted more. on the flip side, i understand that this was not that kinda story so the lack of explicit scenes didn't detract from my overall enjoyment .
- i think this story would've benefit from being a duology. look i stand on the hill defending the need for more fantasy single books but this one had such a great wordbuilding and plot that i would like to be in it a little bit more. the third part of this book felt rushed because of this.
anyway, Eivindr really desserved his HEA - my poor baby needs protection at all costs <3 and i'm excited to dive into Ophelia's catalog.
