wow. this book wholly shifted my outlook on life and love. in a present era where the rhetoric that love just happens to us so we must sit and lay in wait, is a breeding ground for hopelessness, this book is a beacon of hope. i adore the idea that love isn’t easy, that it takes energy and commitment, and i’m glad to see that reflected here.
