Ugly Love by Colleen Hoover

I love a good romance book, I love some good smut, this did not hit the mark for me.

It was okay I read the whole book, I wasn’t obsessed with any characters, they were kind of all the worst characters for the story. Very immature story, the female main character had no back bone or confidence the majority of the book. I wouldn’t read it again but it’s one of CoHo’s better books I’ve read.

It is what it is, a friends with benefits story where every character takes their life problems out on each other, the books is an easy quick read, but frustrating and repetitive.

The book attempted to be raw and heart breaking… but what was that??

Surface layer emotions, surface layer attraction, surface layer yearning. I think the characters were interesting, but unrealistic and each character didn’t fit the theme of the book…

I actually really liked this one. It was so weird, but really had me enjoying the ride! Definitely a good read for the most part.

This book had all my favorite tropes of a romance book, but y’all lied about this book.

It was hard for me to finish and I even wrote in rewrites on a sticky note to pretend it was better in my head, I wish I was kidding.

It could’ve been great for me but I did not really enjoy it or the writing in it, HOWEVER, them little smutty scenes had me sucked in.

One of the better Cliche books imo. Friends to lovers, exactly what you expect, cheesy and to the point.

I liked each of the characters in and of themselves, I do feel like something was missing but it was cute I enjoyed it!

It was good cute banter, but there were some holes, I can’t quite place where it fell short to me, maybe it was just a drug out process of “obviously” waiting for the resolution…

I probably won’t ever pick it up again, but I DID LIKE IT.

I really like it! The banter and humor resonated so deeply with me, I was kind of shocked how much I related to the characters and each of their stories. This is a good little romance book with real life trauma and experiences. I truly enjoyed it!
