I genuinely enjoyed this book. Very sweet and fun read. There was some unexpected spice which is always a plus.

This book was extremely frustrating. I felt Evangeline’s emotional battle with wanting to hate Jacks but loving him more than anything. I cried a lot towards the end of the book. Definitely so much better than the first book. My only complaint is the writing is lazy and nothing great… lots of plot holes and questions unanswered. Poor world building… but the story and characters are chefs kiss.

Started off slow, but could not put it down. Ending had me so stressed. Genuinely loved this book, but not the biggest fan of the writing. Probably due to it being young adult.
