It was a lovely beginning. But having a love story pushed because our MMC is ‘wearing her down’ Is a bit icky. Very olden style thinking that has aged like fine wine

Better than the first. I was sceptical because it was a repeat story, but all the characters we have already met we get a stronger bond with because hades already knew them. And any new characters are ones Persephone hadn’t met yet. Clever writing in that I wasn’t bored and there was lots of new material and scenes that weren’t in the first book.
It was cute, but it took a little too long to get started in a way. It was a nice cosy story, maybe I’m not in the mood for complete cosy.
