This was a fun book for a standard thriller. I figured out a piece of the mystery early on but much of the turn of events did surprise me.

It was a very strange book. I don't know if the character had a breakdown or what. Characters disappeared and were not mentioned again even with loose ends. I just didn't understand.

It was a calm book to me in that it told what happens up front and then showed us. Overall good book.

Very informative and and interesting true story about two slaves Ellen and William Craft escaping slavery. The book dragged in places due to too much information at once about the times and wider event but when focused directly on the Craft was more intriguing. I did not know before this book that the laws in non slavery states, especially Massachusetts, could hand freed slaves to the slave owners nor that some police offucers in protest would wage petty charges on the known slave owners to go away.

This is a fantastic book! I enjoyed most of it but the ending is a bit drawn out and some of the plots boring. It does keep you guessing what is going on and who was involved in what.

This book is a work of experimental art exploring male victims of sexual assault. There were several powerful stories but one in particular me cry. Recommend only if you can handle the subject matter.
