This book was written beautifully. It brought out real emotions every time the other fae did something to the princess. I was on the edge of my seat at the end because I suspected that what happened, would happen!!

This book was AMAZING! As the first fantasy book I've ever gotten into, I'm not disappointed. The story building, the characters, the villains... all beautifully written. The funny moments made my smile beam and I devoured the relationship between Chrome and Gray. My only issue with this book was the spice scenes(which are not many), as I found myself cringing a little, and speed-reading past them.

If you're a fan of dark fantasy romance and dystopian-type worlds, then this book is perfect. It's a bit lengthy, but it honestly did not feel like it was a long read. The spice level is about🌶🌶🌶/5. NOT A STAND ALONE BOOK. The second edition is available for pre-order at the time of this review being written.

Can't say I'm surprised by the ending. The amount of times that "Are you okay?" was written makes me want to ring my neck in. Overall it wasn't the worst book... but I found myself trying to speed through the rest of the book just to be done with it.

I absolutely LOVED this book. I was still sad at the end when, spoiler, they both died!
