if you are apprehensive to read omegaverse/monster romance/paranormal romance like me, fear not (or should i say knot)!!
this book is like a pinky toe dipping into the world of werewolves, shifting, knots😵💫 etc. the plot was so enjoyable and easy to follow. the world building was minimal but straightforward, the magic was simple, and the smut was spicy!!
there was even still a little bit of a STEM element bc what would an ali hazelwood book be without it?

Unfortunately, I found it hard to become invested in these characters. I was rooting for them, of course, but I dreaded the idea of picking this book up, so rather than stress myself out, I decided to just leave the story unfinished.
