How I loved this book, this is the kind of books that I want to read and find. A great young adult dystopian book, with sapphic romance at that. Way to create an incredible story.
You’re totally immersed the whole time, and gosh, you are on a ride for an emotional roller coaster.
I loved how it portrayed climate change and how a society of consumption can turn upside down your life, the society itself. I found it incredibly nicely written, and was hooked.
The romance is great, from enemies to lovers.
As for the ending, to me, it was actually the most realistic one.
Please do read this book.

Well, I guess I am a little disappointed. It was an interesting reading, on a cultural aspect obviously as it is a classic that inspired the famous Dracula from Bram S.
Did it lived to the hype ? Maybe not for me.
I enjoyed, the description of a seductive female vampire.
How it depicted women’s sexuality, the obsession and love through passionate whispers.
For those hoping that it is a real Sapphic romance, it is implied yes, through Carmilla attitude, ways of approaching women indeed. On the other hand, I do believe that the girls approached by her were mostly lonely, desiring to share platonic love. I’m not sure.
I’ll give it a 3/5
