Wow, this ending! This book destroyed me and I love it!
Even though there were many things I didn't like about this book, I want to stay in this magical world forever.
Kingdom of Ash is the final part of the Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas and I have things to say about this!

What I liked:
– I really love Sarah J. Maas's writing style. It's so perfect for this fantasy world and I was sometimes forgetting that I was reading. It felt like being in this world with all the characters and I didn't know what to do after finishing this book (or after the book finished me) because I didn't want to leave this world.
– I love how she is plotting her books. The plot was so good!! There was always a new plot twist which I wasn't expecting.
– Elide and Lorcan. They have my heart. I just love both characters so much and they were saving this book for me (I think it would've been 3/5 without them).

What I didn't like:
– The end fight (I don't want to spoiler you at this point but it wasn't as big and epic as I wanted it to be).
– This book had too many fights in it. For me, three fights would've been enough (this book should've been shorter).
– Aedion. I hate him. Everything's just about his ego and he treats Lysandra like a piece of shit (again, I don't want to spoiler you but I'll never understand why some things happened and why people think it's ok)
– Why was the one spicy scene that I waited for all the time off page??? We got so many other ones (which weren't always good) and then the one I was waiting for since I knew the characters was off page!?! WHY?????
– Sarah J. Maas never kills main characters.
–The books aren't diverse (only white and straight characters)

I love this book! This is a masterpiece.

I did the tandem read and I recommend it to everyone who reads the ToG series. It felt like reading one big book and by the time you finished EoS, you will want to read the last book. If you do the tandem read, you just read the last chapters of ToD and then you can read the last book of the series.

This story is so smart and planned. I love how Aelin seems to know everything and is just the smartest person in the whole world. I didn't see this ending coming and I will instantly start reading the last book.

The only thing I don't like about all this is that SJM NEVER kills the main characters. There were a few scenes where I thought that it would've been good if a main character had died.

Scarlett was very stupid and naive the whole time. I also couldn't relate to the other characters and didn't like the romance.
I wasn't a big fan of the world and just didn't really get into it.
Basically I just read it bc I want to read once upon a broken heart. I hope the sequel from Donatella's pov will be better.
