This is the very first book I have read of Mariana Zapata and I immediately know I will read more in the future. This beautiful, contemporary romance is something to read when you feel down or maybe just in a book slump. I'd recommend it to anyone who'd love a slow burn, sports romance!
I absolutely loved it! Even though I had my doubts at first for a few chapters, the more I read, the more I felt myself getting into it. There were times I wanted to smack Theo's head to get some sense into him and there were times when I wanted to hug him like crazy. And don't even make me start on Mia. She is an absolute badass but at the same time, the sweetest person there is. I can assure that this is now one of my fav stories on watpad and I can't wait to read it's sequel " Lingering sins"!

Hero-villian are just labels, after all, what matters is who the person is from within.

This is a third-person POV book and that was one of the reasons I had difficulties in getting into it at the start. It may also seem a little hard to keep continuing. But once the chapters started getting more interesting, it was worth not DNFing it. It took me almost

I'm not really sure what to think of this book. I really liked how the 2 main characters Whit and Summer had amazing chemistry. Their hatred for each other but as well as when they showed their vulnerable sides, I liked it all.
But I did find some scenes a bit too dark and uncomfortable for me, but that's me.
If you are alright with it, I say go for it. This is the perfect book to read if you like bully romances and a possessive mc.

I absolutely loved this book! It had all the traits of a humorous, sweet, and heart-warming friends-to-lovers book. The longing looks, having to act only as a friend, the pining for each other, everything only made it even more amazing and heartening.
This book is everything a good contemporary romance should have. Knowing how much this book is loved and hyped, I couldn't wait to read it. And I 100% agree with all the positive reviews out there for this book. I couldn't recommend it enough even if I tried.
