listened to this book as an audiobook which i think was not the best choice? probably much more enjoyable when you can jump out and in of the story and study the technical drawings more closely.
really enjoyed the technical parts, and quite a bit of the biographical aspects as well, all though newey can be a bit prejudiced and annoyed me slightly throughout the whole book…

i read this book in french which is my fourth language so i might’ve gotten a  skewed perception of it, but this book hit very close to home when describing how it is to be a slavic immigrant in a western country.. loved the narrator’s voice, captured a lot of bizarre stuff you don’t really think about and makes it some of it funny, some of it heartwrenching. really recommend !!!

lots of worldbuilding i am not very familiar with which makes it quite confusing at times but overall wonderful read! been wanting to read it for ages, and choosing to do this through an audiobook was the right choice i think :)
