I loved this book so much even though I didn't really love the first in the series, but please give this one a go even if you felt the same! It's a massive improvement (especially the humour) and I'm actually looking forward to the next book!

this is a charming read and the characters are likeable, however I think because the start of the book is very slow, it means that the ending is very rushed.

This book is amazing, the characters are so real and human, their love, loneliness, and longing is incredibly palpable. there are some tougher topics too so definitely look up trigger warnings first if you need to!! a true love story, I adored it

This was a very short read for me as I absolutely couldn't put it down, it broke my heart just like I knew it would and I'm going to be thinking about it for a long time. It's very different to what I'd usually read too so I'm glad I found it on booktok.

omg September cannot come fast enough so that I can read the next book in this series!! I've read all of Stephanie Garber's books and fallen in love with them all, this one was no different and I think I love it even more than the Caraval series. (huge praise) a must read! Garber makes the world of this book so incredibly real that you can almost touch it - absolutely beautifully done.

I found this book randomly while scrolling the explore page on instagram and it sounded good that I bought it. I LOVED IT. it literally had everything I love, sunshine x grumpy trope, small town romance, fake dating, an evil twin, tastefully written sex scenes, all of it. 5 stars, 10/10, would read it and recommend it again

This book is something so entirely different to anything I usually read, so a massive thank you to Leena Norms for mentioning it in a video recently. it was equally dark and hilarious, and I literally loved every second of the drama of it, new fave book. read this one!

This is a book all about, you guessed it, love. It's about growing older, and all the different kinds of love that you experience as you grow up. I loved reading all about Alderton's experiences with her amazing friends and not always so amazing dates. It's a book full of hope and wonder, and it genuinely made me feel warm inside. I learnt a lot of lessons from this book, this was actually my second read of it as I wanted to re-read it after watching the show, (I prefer the book), it's something that I'll be coming back to time and time again and I used an extract from it as a ceremony reading in my wedding as I loved it that much. A must read in my opinion.
