i listened to the audiobook whilst reading the physical books which made it a thoroughly enjoyable experience

i loved all the extra chapters and writing notes about them in the paper back felt extra special

john green’s writing is my favourite. it’s so earnest and beautiful and this book had the same john green vibes as his novel whilst being completely different. LOVE

i will read pretty much anything this man publishes at this point

only john green could make me not only care about but cry about football

this man’s writing does something to my brain chemistry

this collection of essays is so uplifting and funny and immensely quotable.

it was also extremely fun reading the chapters for which i’d already seen the vlogbrothers videos

10/10 books that is now tabbed beyond recognition

i will accept no criticism of this book. it made me laugh out loud and spit fake a few times (still chuckle whenever i think about LION!) but it also made me emotional.

the relationship between libby and nora was so complex and beautiful and real. i love the portrayal of their trauma and how it affected them both in such different ways

the greatest feat of it all, it made this misandrist lesbian actually enjoy a straight romance for the first time since coming out.

emily henry is a genius. her writing is exactly my cup of tea and this book was exactly what i needed after a draining week (i read it all in a day).

i listened to the audiobook while reading and the narration was 10/10 so defo recommend that

only reason it’s not 5 stars is because WHY ARE THEY GETTING ENGAGED AFTER BEING TOGETHER FOR LESS THAN A YEAR?! absolutely not.

this book defo gets top points for not having a miscommunication trope in the relationship

i didn’t see who was the killer coming which is very cool but it’s not my fav of the series. could be because i’ve been quite stressed while listening to it tho.
