3 stars. Heart breaking at times, and really beautiful at times. But ultimately plotless, boring and with characters who spiralled into abstraction and were too few in number, rendering the whole thing a claustrophobic room over packed with metaphors and oversaturated with only three voices characters. And in that room, you're bludgeoned with on the nose warnings of the death of mother earth - something I should imagine most readers are already aware of.
However, I have to say: I can't deny how much the ending affected me. Briefly, but deeply, it chilled and saddened me to my core.
