Kiss Me at Christmas by Jenny Bayliss
5.0
Another outstanding book by Jenny Bayliss. The characters had conflict, but it wasn't drawn out or frustrating. And as usual, the community building was lovely.
My True Love Gave to Me: Twelve Holiday Stories by Stephanie Perkins

It's hard to rate multi-author collections because I loved some of these stories and felt like others dragged on. So we'll just go middle of the road here.

Ok I really enjoyed this one, but there were a few bits that weren't resolved which was frustrating. Also I (naively) convinced myself that there wouldn't be a miscommunication phase ... and of course there was. So close to perfect, but had to take off a few points.
Make the Season Bright by Ashley Herring Blake

I really liked this one and honestly wish I had gotten the physical copy instead of just listening to it.
Royal Holiday by Jasmine Guillory

Super cute and a super quick read. I loved that the characters were older and knew what they wanted in life! Not super Christmassy, other than the time of year it's set, but definitely cozy.
All I Want for Christmas by Maggie Knox

There was far too much going on in this one, and it felt like everything was just skimmed over. I didn't feel invested in the characters.
Voyager by Diana Gabaldon

This one felt like it dragged a lot more. There are so many side stories, and I felt myself losing interest at parts.
There There by Tommy Orange

Sometimes the intertwined narratives stories are a miss, but I really enjoyed this one. But damn did the end come at you fast!

Jenny Bayliss writes the absolute coziest winter books. There's not much I can think to add, other than I loved the friendships and flowers in this one.
