I liked the first book better but I am excited for the 3rd book I think it will be my favourite this book gave good context for the next book but felt slower to read and less compelling mystery than the first

The magic system in this book is really fun. Also the mix of group challenges and personal battles is good. I like that most of the book is focused on the action and survival but that there’s breaks of pining and smut in between. Excited to read the second book because I loved the twist at the end of this book.

This memoir is beautifully written, a journey of healing and accepting womanhood. From her thoughts on growing up, her experience recovering from anorexia, harry potter’s impact on her life and finding passions that help her continue to recover. Letting go of perfection in order to live. I cried cathartic tears and I hope she writes many more books as her writing flowed so well. I found this story helped me better understand my own recovery journey too. Highly recommend.

This book made me want to google the characters after as if they were real. Loved it.
