The idea of this story also a brilliant idea. I love the courage Kai got at the end and also love his group of friends. This book brings joy and laugh also smile to my face.
As a fan of Heartstopper (both graphic novel and series), I love this story so much and recommend for someone who's the same as me. This book certainly got its own Heartstopper vibes and moments.
Good job, Kevin! Another 5⭐ rating because this story is perfect! Cute romance!

I love the idea that we have Eliza Lin; the imperfect indigenous main character. She's imperfect yes. But, somehow she gets back on her feet and finally can solve her own problems.
I love this story so much. I fall in love with the dynamics and banters between Eliza and Caz. Thank you for the heartfelt sweet story, Ann. I will continue with I Hope This Doesn't Find You next!
5⭐ worthy. Ciao!

The Severed Thread gave me chills in every scene and every part of the story. Love the continuation from The Bone Spindle. I still can feel the element of fairytale in this book. The language that used in this book is more advance then the first one (which is good).
The whole story... is sophisticated but brilliant! And I love the new characters to be added; especially Perrin. I really hope he gets more scene later. Thanks to Leslie that made this series exist. The Severed Thread is one of my most favourite book to read this month. And I love there are more puzzles and riddles that should be solved by Fi in this book.
Can't wait to finish my whole journey battling the spindle witch with this brilliant squad in The Cursed Rose. Once again, worth to read with 5⭐ rating! Thank you for an amazing book, Leslie!

Check & Mate is a perfect Young Adult debut by you, Ali! The idea of the story itself is fresh! And the themes... it is the first time for me reading a book about chess tournament. And I love the tropes in it! I love this perfect story so much!
For female lead... I think Mallory for me is a bit complicated as a person (but I don't hate her because I understand her struggles). And for our male lead... ugh! What can I say about Nolan Sawyer? I love him so much! He is so vulnerable and realistic when it comes to dicussion. I love him so much!!!
This book has a perfect story and perfect ending. I love how you put the ending on the epilogue, Ali! What a stunning Young Adult debut!
Check & Mate, solid 4.5⭐! Thank you for this wholesome touching story! You are really a romance powerhouse!
