Insta love that you had to have read another book to even see their first meeting??? Had no idea. Between the God references and this quote from the MMC “don’t ever call yourself disabled again. You’re the least disabled person I know.” I had a really tough time with this book. The author really had an opportunity to inform the reader that disabled isn’t a bad word but the way the FMC’s disability was treated throughout the book felt a little off. I understood what she was trying to do with the prosthetics company but it was really fantastical and unrealistic.
