WOW I AM IMPRESSED
this book was not at all what I expected from the cover and I’m so happy about that!
I loveeeeeddddd Evie’s character so much she’s so bubbly and unafraid and the villian omg he’s just a big ol softie.
ALSO THE WORLD AND STORY BUILDING IS SOOO GOOD like there is so little romance in this book and yet its so enjoyable!! Loved it, first 5 star read of the year

Read this in one day and i enjoyed it throughly!! the world building was amazingggg
I like that the book is setting up for the next books and there’s not a lot of important things that happen like war. I loved everyone’s characters except for Baldair, he seemed so up and down and it was just plain weird.
I LOVE how vhalla and aldrik’s relationship is slow paced and not that focused in this book!!
But wtf was going on with the egmun that bitch and the emperor can die too

Ok i had higher hopes for this honestly. The first book was so good and fun this one just kinda felt boring and loopy. The whole book is just miscommunication trope and dante trying to touch allesa and failing and then at the end we witness some acotar bullshit where she dies but is brought back to life by powers of others!! Also allesa was low-key insufferable this book and omg i hated talia’s character sm. That said kaleb and adrick were babes i wish this book had more fun scenes with them. ALSO im glad we kinda got a little banter this book and i hated the ending the plot twist was literally unnecessary because Ciro and Diwata were shitty characters anyways.
