Going to come back to this review or write a longer one when I've fully collected my thoughts but I thought this was such an interesting, layered read, and it doesn't hurt that it's almost compulsively readable. It just felt very sincere and interested in grappling with itself in a way I  enjoyed.

Well-written and strong with its themes but I feel perhaps this one just wasn’t for me — it felt overwritten at times, but I am frustrated by the fact that so many people cite the POV as being the reason they disliked the book because I thought the POV worked very well for it and made it all the more interesting besides. Anyway, most of my grievances with this book mostly have to do with the fact that I found it a bit dull, sorry! But I can see why people like it so much.
