I rather enjoyed this book. It's full of twists and turns, and a bit of Gothic romance for good measure! For my full review, check out my book blog here: https://fairytalesandtea.com/girl-at-the-grave/

I really enjoyed this book, but I so wish I'd have had the chance to read it when I was a kid. 12-year-old me would have loved it so much! If you're looking for an easy spooky read, especially for younger folks, The Graveyard Book is a great choice. The Winter of the Witch was an intense read that swept me along, whether I was prepared or not. I wouldn't have guessed it during the first few hours of this book, but it turned out to be my favorite out of the entire trilogy. I love long-form storytelling and Katherine Arden is a master of it. The pace may be slow, but the tension is always sky high. To see my full review, check out my blog here: https://fairytalesandtea.com/the-girl-in-the-tower/

If you're looking for a spooky read, you've found it! I was on edge with Annaliegh as she tries to uncover what truly happened in the death of her sister Eulalie. When things take a darker turn, the suspense kicks up even higher as she tries to keep the rest of her sisters safe. From what? She doesn't yet know. I thought I'd like this book, but I didn't expect to absolutely fall in love with it. All of the characters are so well written, and the ones you're supposed to cheer for are so easy to love. I adored this book!! For a full review, check out my blog here: https://fairytalesandtea.com/a-wizards-guide-to-defensive-baking/

I wanted to love this book more than I did, and admittedly, I struggled through it half of the time. I liked the core story, but following it was tough. For a full review, check out my book blog: https://fairytalesandtea.com/the-maids-version/
