I loved this book! The dynamic between Gwen and Xander is perfect. They are Rivals to Lovers which is perfect for them. They are sarcastic, but their love of music is what draws me in! I'm a huge music lover and it was amazing how Julie was able to write about them. The spice is perfect and doesn't ruin anything! This book had me grinning and laughing it was just amazing. This is perfect for music lovers who love rival to lovers tropes and cute romances with a bit of spice 😉. Thank you Netgalley and Julie Soto for the opportunity to read this ARC! Not Another Love Song releases this summer, July 16, 2024! Go preorder the book now!

Thank you Netgalley for the ARC.
I liked it. The overall story was good. I just couldn't get into the multiple POVs. If you enjoy a slow thriller with multiple POVs from different places this is for you!

Divine Rivals 📝
Author: Rebecca Ross
Series: Letters of Enchantment Book 1
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Synopsis: After centuries of sleep, the gods are warring again. But eighteen-year-old Iris Winnow just wants to hold her family together. Her mother is suffering from addiction and her brother is missing from the front lines. Her best bet is to win the columnist promotion at the Oath Gazette.

To combat her worries, Iris writes letters to her brother and slips them beneath her wardrobe door, where they vanish—into the hands of Roman Kitt, her cold and handsome rival at the paper. When he anonymously writes Iris back, the two of them forge a connection that will follow Iris all the way to the front lines of battle: for her brother, the fate of mankind, and love.

Thoughts: Ugh 😍 I loved this book sooo much! I laughed and I cried. My heart filled with love for theses characters and broke for them. The connection between Iris and Roman is undeniable. And Chapter 26 😍❤ perfection. I can only dream that in the future it will be that romantic and perfect for me! I loved the letters that they wrote to each other 💌 Rebecca Ross took you to the past and you could vividly picture and experience it! I ate this entire book up and I'm ready to read Ruthless Vows! Highly recommend this YA Fantasy.

I enjoyed this read! Seeing everything from Grayson and Jamesons side was really cool. Graysons experience with the twins and the puzzle of everything I loved! Jameson experience and his discovery of self worth was something that I was really hoping that he got since the start of the series. Every single puzzle and mystery I loved! Can't wait for The Grandest Game to come out!

Ruthless Vows 🗡
Author: Rebecca Ross
Series: Letters of Enchantment Book 2
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Synopsis: Two weeks have passed since Iris Winnow returned home bruised and heartbroken from the front, but the war is far from over. Roman is missing, and the city of Oath continues to dwell in a state of disbelief and ignorance. When Iris and Attie are given another chance to report on Dacre’s movements, they both take the opportunity and head westward once more despite the danger, knowing it’s only a matter of time before the conflict reaches a city that’s unprepared and fracturing beneath the chancellor’s reign.

Since waking below in Dacre’s realm, Roman cannot remember his past. But given the reassurance that his memories will return in time, Roman begins to write articles for Dacre, uncertain of his place in the greater scheme of the war. When a strange letter arrives by wardrobe door, Roman is first suspicious, then intrigued. As he strikes up a correspondence with his mysterious pen pal, Roman will soon have to make a decision: to stand with Dacre or betray the god who healed him. And as the days grow darker, inevitably drawing Roman and Iris closer together…the two of them will risk their very hearts and futures to change the tides of the war.

Thoughts: I loved this duology so much! Knowing that Roman wasn't going to remember Iris hurt! However, the way that he started to fall in love with "Elizabeth" the way that he fell in love with Iris was sooo sweet. Then when he finally remembers her 😭 and he tells her he finally remembers I cried tears of joy. They are endgame! I laughed, cried, and nearly had a heart attack with this book! I cannot forgive Rebecca for Forests and Sarah's outcome 😭 I wanted them to last. Even though I gave this book 5 stars, in my opinion, Divine Rivals was my favorite! This series pulled on my heart strings. 10/10 😭❤

I loved this book!!! 10/10! It kept me hook from page one. There were many twists throughout that kept me wanting more. Seeing what other people were seeing and thinking in their POVs was *chefs kiss* perfect. The ending I was not expecting whatsoever. Highly recommend!!!
