this book is fucking depressing. most of the time, i wanted to pull my hair out because of the pigs. what impacted me the most i guess, was how at the end of the book the "lower class animals" had started to have difficulty differentiating the pigs from the humans. 

this is such a powerful and timeless classic. a commentary on power, corruption, and greed. brilliantly written!
