first part was boring, second part was rambley; but overall interesting AND uncomfortable! the character delve into frank was really interesting to read and still questionable to even tell what he was being honest about as a psychopath. it was well written, i’m just not a fan of thriller books or postmodern horror with political sides

this book was automatically liked by me because the cover is HEAVENLY. the “no dating” rule was definitely overdramatized but the book would’ve been super boring without it, even though it was insta-lovey. it was definitely a realistic teenager book and easy to connect with, especially quinn, she was quirky and a super good written highschool girl with trust issues <3
my best read of the year so far actually. when a book is hyped up so much i usually expect too much and get sad when i don’t enjoy it, but i wanted to give this book 5 stars by chapter five. this is a completely not-sugar coded book about war, and it was so so so fucking good. rin is the fmc of all time WELCOME TO MY CLIENF LIST. i am so ruined.
