i just.. do not love alice walker, and this story was just.  not for me.

the fatphobia and just OBVIOUS amount that the author hates women in this really turned me off

joan they didnt have to do that to you….. you didn’t deserve it….. overall this book really felt weak in the start, and only got a tiny but stronger towards the end. on one hand i appreciated aria representing messy bisexuals(?) everywhere, on the other, i did Not sign up for the mess this was. i think some people would love it, but it was certainly not my cup of tea. loved the little bit with lilly and Kath getting married tho <3
