So much talking! And cuddling and kissing and talking and talking and talking. I needed so much more.

I loved this! It read like an action movie. I wouldn’t be surprised if it is turned into a movie someday. I wish we heard more from Ruby’s perspective throughout the book. We lose her POV about halfway through the book. Was amazing.

I’m iffy on this book. There were parts I liked and parts I didn’t. It was well written. And the FMC was an interesting metaphor for domestic violence survivors.

It’s a pretty dry read, at least to begin. I would like to try again at another time to finish it.

Over all I enjoyed this book. Although I’m not sure I could tell you the plot. There is a plot. I think. lol there’s definitely a beginning and an end. But the author leaves the reader as confused as the MC is the entire book. Which isn’t necessarily bad. I enjoyed reading until the end to see what twists there might be.

This was a tough read! It took a little bit for me to feel invested in the MC but by the end I had fallen in love with Charlie. Once it got going I couldn’t put it down. Loved it!
