Best sapphic romance book I’ve read to-date! And I read a lot of them. Femme and queer nurses and pilots, family illness and toxicity, workplace harassment, and great sex scenes. Favorite quote from Olive: “It’s not going to feel okay. But it’s okay to *feel.*”

10/10 will read again.

Superficial from every lens (queer, feminist, racial, climate change) and often problematic in its takes. Reads overwhelmingly like YA yet is labeled Adult. Bad dialogue. Distractingly unbelievable elements even for a dystopia (med student doing c-sections, smart people not being smart in any way, etc.).
