The perfect summer read. Nothing too challenging, and you can probably guess who the culprit is halfway through, but I wanted some light summer read that would be fun, and this book hit all the marks. The recipes are lovely and I can't wait to bake them. The setting puts you into the beginning of July in the US, and it is wonderfully whimsical in the small town of Lake Eden. The cast is overall loveable, although I feel like the main protagonist, Hannah, seems a little too focused on not being like other women. Which is still nice but was a bit too on the nose for me.
