I struggle with this because I hated this book, and I loved it. I think part of it was I had pretty high expectations because this book was highly anticipated, so I’d like to re read later on and see if my opinion changes.

Things I hated: The main character is so aggravating, and I didn’t understand the villains motives at all. And the book was so slow for the first half.

That being said, I couldn’t stop reading it. And the last third was great. Some of the twists are a little cliche, but they shocked me EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.

I really loved this book! I had heard that it was very similar to Black Mirror, and that was very true. Both are about new technologies and how people use them and how it impacts them.

I was absolutely shocked by some of the stories, particularly the very ending of some of the stories. It’s basically like reading five smaller thrillers!

I really liked how short the chapters were as well, you move pretty quickly back and fourth to each of the five stories. I was worried I’d have a hard time keeping them all straight but they were all so different, that it wasn’t an issue at all.

100% would recommend this book!!

I had to think on this review for a little bit. I thought the book was kind of boring, but then I kept picking it back up every time I put it down, and I finished it in only a couple days, so I was really into it!

It takes a little while for the more “thrilling” aspects to come in, but the first third is really setting up a lot of information that you need to grasp what all is happening.

Overall I really enjoyed the book, definitely would recommend!

I like how fast paced this book is, and the super short chapters make this a really fast read.

I had some pretty high expectations for this book because I had only heard how incredible it was, so I was a little let down by that. But the book was still pretty enjoyable, not a favorite of mine though.

Definitely recommend the audio book for this!

This books starts off running!! It really grabs you immediately in the first chapter, so that was great. It felt like it was slow after that by comparison, but it was still a good pace.

As the book went on, I couldn’t put it down. I partially guessed the ending (not an issue for me), but I was still shocked at the end! I was sobbing by the end, because it was just such a roller coaster!

100% would recommend to anyone! The audiobook was fantastic as well!
