Could not care less about the actual narrator/main character of the book. But Evelyn Hugo's world? Let me live in it forever. I love anything that dives into queer history, and the idea of a classic Hollywood icon being part of a queer found family through the 1960s is SO good. Also, extremely sad, bawled my eyes out.

Read this one in one sitting, on a plane ride home from the midwest. It was easily digestible and nice to get lost in for a few hours. The characters were incredibly compelling, even if they did make a lot of choices that pissed me off lol.
