Another great entry in the Star Kissed series!

Only reason it's not 5 stars from me is because the island section where book 1 left off takes up about 50% of the book, despite only being 3 days in-universe.
It's some great character building, it's just a bit slow. But second half is the same fantastic fast-paced action from book 1, and given where we left off I expect the same from book 3.

Short and sweet, but I really enjoyed it!
There's so much potential for a second book with the ending it left off on. I hope to see one in future 🙏

My only complaint is that this book was really long and often dragged a bit in places where things just weren't really happening. It's the kind of book you read over a long period of time, because it's enjoyable, but there isn't enough action to keep you hooked until the last few chapters (which I absolutely sped through).

Overall tho, I really enjoyed it! I didn't expect to grow to love Joslyn as a character as much as I did, or
hate Mylla haha
. The main character Tasia was well written, and you really see her grow from a teenage girl into a leader by the end of the book.

I really enjoyed the writing style of this book, and the way it was told. It was somehow both simple and mysterious. So different to things written today.

The story is amazing, with such a well thought out world, and believable, intriguing characters.
That cliffhanger was BRUTAL though

The characters are extremely frustrating, and the dirty talk is the most cringey thing I've ever read
