I loved the world building in this and all the fun and unique side characters Suri met at the school reminded me of Shiz university in wicked a bit . I liked suri way better than Sophie who was a naive somewhat flakey fmc 
My only complaint not enough smut .

As far as memoirs go it was ok not anything great not anything bad .  Has some profound moments especially in her description of how hard family court is to navigate . I found her really passive and spineless at times she’s not the most interesting person to read about but has had quite a life

Wasn’t bad wasn’t amazing . Teia was frustrating in her flip flopping allegiance but loved the way she took control in the end even if it’ll only bite her in the ass  . Really nice world building reminds me of the defy the night series

Beginning was rough cuz Kidan frustrated the shit out of me with her arrogant blundering and immaturity but the end was wow . really lush vibrant gothic world I would love to see more of and explored from different characters like Slen or Yusef 

This is dark academia done right
And enemies to lovers at that
