firetothepoppies's Reviews (210)

It was good but I can't say I loved it like the first one. Maybe because it took longer to read idk. But I liked it. Bloody cliff hangers though

I'm so emotional. What a beautiful book

I really quite liked this book, I've read it twice and I'd 100% recommend it to anyone who likes fantasy. If you'd like to know my full thoughts, you can head over to my blog to find out more!

Every. Time. Jem. Did. Something. I. Cried.
Why did I have to get spoiled by the Internet :( my review should be up quite soon!

Oh, just you wait until the end. I'll have a full review closer to release date

I remember when Fred died, I couldn't imagine how hard it must be to loose your twin (I have a twin sister) and so his death had a huge effect of me. Jem and Will are so much like my best friend and I that it was hard not to have the same thoughts. I'm an actually mess now so I'm going to bed. This book was wonderful though

4.5 for me. I liked it, and I thought it was int resting being in verse. Maria Mitchell is so inspiring, and I knew nothing about her until I read this. Definitely recommend

I didn't hate it but I certainly didn't love it. It had a lot of flaws and bits that didn't quite make sense but I am planing on have my review up soon so, keep an eye out for that

Oh. My. God.
That ending, though. WOW! I can't wait for book two, what an incredible read.

3.5 stars. I think a closer reading would bump up the rating.

Alison is unapologetic in this autobiography, from her writing down to the illustrations. I thought the way she talked about sexuality and gender was very interesting, and I think it's a great read. It's also my first graphic novel (can't say I'm a fan) but it was enjoyable to read
