Extremely enjoyable book! The world building was exquisite and a definite necessity to the overall understanding of the inner workings of the world. The book certainly delivered on this aspect: Allowing for more context in the tribes traditions, set pieces, and character defining traits and antidotes… even if some are more harsh than others
(I will not condone the besmirchment of Scarlets already smoldering reputation: let the deceased EX-Queen hold a now-technically-useless hit list in tranquility/peace!)

Surprisingly, I have the strong feeling this book is hinting towards a fourth arc or, at minimum, perhaps another Legends book.

Typically, I don't do this writing portion of the reviews. I just like to give it a % rating then move on with my day, (suppose you could say I'm a "silent reviewer.") However, the "Has Anyone Heard of the Left/Right Game?" story is one of the best things i have ever had the pleasure of reading.
The writing is phenomenal: the way those words are stitched together to form paragraph after paragraph is extraordinary. It sucks you right into the story, like you're actually there, experiencing everything along with Alice.
You get attached to the characters very easily. However, some fell like they are just there for cannon-fodder.
Such as Ace. Honestly, while he was enjoyable, it feels like he just there for plot p regression and to start the rift between the rest of the crew & Bluejay.
On the other hand, the ones that stick around longer truly get to shine. It feels as though you lived their lives, no matter how glimpse into said life was.
Each twist and turn is nicely built up to. Even though some can be seen from a mile away, they still hit hard.

The protagonist--Alice--is fun, relatable, and all the other buzz words for a good protagonist. She's inquisitive, and very intelligent.
You can tell how hard she is affected after each member of the party falls, no matter how little she knew them.

I do not know how more to explain how amazing this tale is. It is a must read for any reader, no matter the typical genre you indulge yourself in.

Now if you'll excuse me, I will be on my way
"to a place where everything has fallen away, and the road is all there is."
