I agree with the reviews saying there wasn’t much plot but. I’m a sucker for slow paced books with lots of world-building and politics and that’s exactly what this is so I can’t help but rate it 4 stars.

2,5 stars, I think? It was… interesting and tbh I do want to read the rest of this series. I just. The beginning was confusing, I didn’t really care about any of the side characters and Paige annoyed me near the end (she risked EVERYTHING to make out with warden???? Like it wasn’t even just a kiss fhdjsjs I was so ANNOYED!)

Okay so. 98% of this book was so good and I was just thinking “brandon sanderson is a GENIUS” the entire time. I just didn’t like how this trilogy ended I guess. So: 5 stars for the first 98%, 2.5 or 3 for the last 2%.
