.
Esther er fantastisk!
Den kvinde er the bomb!

.

.
Føler der mangler en del...

WWECD = what would Eileen Cotton do.
is pretty much the perfect phrase for this book.
.
29-year-old Eileen Cotton, switch her life for 2 months with her 79-year-old grandma Eileen Cotton.
Two months were they both figure their lives out, and finds some new meanings, friends, and love.
.
this story is heartwarming and full of life.
it's about opening your arms to change and about losing someone you love and being okay with the pain that comes after, the emptiness.
it's about the fact that a single woman in her late 70's goes on a dating site, and ends up having a sexual relationship with an actor for 2 months but in the end, finds love with her grumpy old neighbor.
.
Beth O'Leary stole my heart with "The flatshare" and she still has it with "The Switch"
The book switch between two narratives, one with Leena (Young Eileen) and Eileen (Grandma) which made the book an easy read.

my heart is hurting.
.
don't let the cover fool you.
it will make you think that this book is a sweet and heart-warming book when in reality it's heart-breaking.
.
Evie doesn't believe in love after her father left her family for another woman.
But one day, she gets a gift, the ability to see the love life of other couples when they kiss.
And what will happen, when she falls in love herself, with the handsome musician Xavier.
.
This book pulled in some heartstrings for sure.
It's a magical, sweet, heart
warming, and heartbreaking story.
I am sure Nicola Yoon wrote a masterpiece with this one.
I can't wait for the news about how she sold the movie rights of this one.

"Hello, my name is Faith Herbert, and I'm a badass fat girl."
.
After doing some research, I found out that this book is about a badass plus-size superhero, who saw the world for the first time in 1992.
And now she has her own story by the incredible Julie Murphy.
.
Faith Herbert is a teen who lost her parents and is now living with her grandma Lou.
She is spending most days with her BFFs Ches and Matt or volunteering at the animal shelter.
But...she can also fly.
.
I gotta be honest, when I finished this book I honestly thought Faith would wake up and it all was a bad dream.
I am not saying that because I hate it, but more because I had a hard time wrapping my head around the story, it was a little too out there for me.
I am thinking I would have enjoyed it much more if it was a Graphic Novel...or a movie...or perhaps a new tv-series on Netflix.
With that, I can honestly say that I am looking forward to the 2nd book.
