i dont know what to say.

bunny's death. the whole chaos after the death. THE ENDING?!

the way richard narrated the whole story and how he, slowly but surely, changed his perspective toward everyone and everything amazed me. its so fluid the way donna tartt wrote everything. from the (slight) jokes and banter, the greeks, the "friendship", the events that keep makes my jaw dropped. this book is a 5* and i cannot recommend this book enough.

my first book of 2023, the first book i've ever read by keigo higashino, and my first 5* book of 2023.

what can i say besides its a wild ride. every reveal of secrets and how everything connected at the end. the characters and their (dark) backstory.

keigo higashino really impressed me with this book. i literally bring this book everywhere i go because i canNOT stop reading this novel. now, i want to buy the devotion of suspect x.

god, what an experience.
