Women, Race, and Class is, in my opinion, a very important book that everyone who is passionate about the topic should read, and then reread. Davis' writing is fascinating and the book is extremely insightful. An absolutely gripping, informative book that I highly recommend to just about everyone.
I absolutely adore this book! The format is really interesting if a bit challenging to figure out how to read at first but it really worked for me! The author's style of writing is poetic enough to be charming without pushing into boring, long-winded territory. Even though the blurb tells you most of the story at the start, its truly a pleasure to read.
An in-depth, interesting read written by someone who clearly knows what they're talking about and has done their research! Very gripping writing, though the phrasing and explanations could be a bit more refined in places. A great look into the alt-right and their history in America.
A very entertaining series of interconnected short stories that left me mildly confused but very happy with what I'd read! Each story got me even more hooked, and I just couldn't put it down! Highly recommend, a very fun read!
It's an interesting book, if a bit confusing. I really enjoyed the author's style of writing, but the story probably wasn't meant for me. The Third Hotel is a good read, just that I'm not the target audience for it.
Flaws of characters a main focus? It's complicated

Very heavy, very dark, and very emotional. Dawn provides an interesting glimpse into the lives of ordinary citizens dealing with unfortunate circumstances. I nearly cried at the end of several of the short stories. The book is gripping, full of content warnings, and has an intriguing political message. It's very nicely written, but definitely not for if you're already feeling bad.
