It was a pretty good book. There was a good hook, and I was quite drawn into the story, and quite desperate to find out who had truly murdered Summer. The writing was rather good, and I really enjoyed how the author interwove "Then" and "Back" sections, as well as excerpts of 'The Way into Lovelorn' and 'The Return to Lovelorn'. It was really interesting to see how they all worked with one another. The changing POVs were also very well-handled, so overall, good writing.

The plot also was interesting, and the atmosphere created was wonderful (and suddenly made me worried to head back home through the dark....). However, I did feel like the ending was slightly rushed. The resolution was too quick for my taste, and the explanation of everything wasn't enough for me. I like being told exactly how and why (though not entirely) and here, there was just not enough of this explaining.

Still, I did enjoy reading it! Definitely recommend!
